I was born and raised in China, surrounded by delicious, healthy food and an active lifestyle that kept me in good shape—even while working in an office job. I never went to a gym back then, simply because I wasn't overweight. Thanks to the healthy food and lifestyle I grew up with, I didn’t think I needed to.
When I moved to Australia in 2008, things changed. After I had my son, I began experiencing ongoing back pain. Later, while working in a kitchen, I injured both of my shoulders. I spent a lot of money on physio and chiro trying to fix myself—but the results were only temporary, I realised in order to truly recover, I needed to strengthmy muscles around my injuries and take an active approach healing. That was my turning point. I quit my kitchen job, stopped studying international business, and enrolled in fitness studies instead. It was the best decision I ever made. Through strength training, I began to fix my own issues and found a new passion along the way.
My martial arts journey, which started in 2009, had already sparked my curiosity about how the human body moves. Japanese Karate and Jujitsu deepened my understanding of biomechanics and body mechanics. In 2015, I became a qualified Personal Trainer so I could help others avoid injuries and build strong, resilient bodies too.
Being a PT is truly the best job in the world. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing my clients transform—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. I’ve worked with people who’ve lost over 30kg in a year, slipped into dresses they never thought they'd wear again, and seen chronic pain from arthritis, back, shoulder, and neck issues disappear.
I’m incredibly proud of every single client and their achievements, no matter how big or small.
I believe health and fitness is one of the best investments you can make—with the highest return. When you look after your body, your body looks after you.
It’s my absolute privilege to be part of your journey, walking alongside you, cheering you on, and supporting you every step of the way—until you hit every single goal!
